IMPORTANCE OF SOUL TO GOD
Ezekiel 18:4
‘’Behold, all souls are mine; as the soul of the father, so also the soul of the son is mine…’’
More than likely, the degree at which men crave for money; is the degree at which God craves for the souls of men to be saved. Only that God’s own craving is far much greater than men’s. The degree at which parents love their children; is the degree at which God loves mankind, and much, much greater.
John15:13
‘’Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.’’

God And the Soul
The soul of man came from God, Genesis 2:27
“And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.”
see also Ecclesiastes 12:7; Job 33:4
The truth is, the soul of man is a cut from God, a fragment of God, a particle of God, a bit of God; hence, a part and parcel of God, an integral part of God
Psalm 82:6
‘’6 I have said, Ye are gods; and all of you are children of the most High.’’
Doubtless, man is the son of God.
Undoubtedly, the human soul is equal to God in quality. Just as a spark from the fire is equal in quality to the fire. As a drop of water from the ocean is equal to the ocean in quality. However, the difference between God and the soul is that God is all pervading; whilst the soul is localized.
Mankind Is Lost
The trouble is mankind is born separated from God by inheritance and by nature.
Luke 19:10
”For the SON of man is COME to SEEK and to SAVE that which was LOST”
Who was lost? Humanity, of course!
Without doubt, Jesus came to seek and to save humankind, this was the sole purpose Jesus came.
Truth is, the first human ancestors, Adam and Eve, sold out humanity to the devil along with themselves [Genesis 3] which prompted God to send His son Jesus the Christ to atone for the sin of mankind with His own life and thus bought back humanity through His death and resurrection.
Nonetheless, before Jesus ascended into heaven, He charged His disciples to spread the good news of salvation to all men.
Mark16:15-16
”And he said unto them, go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved.”
Birthday In Heaven
Jesus stressed the importance of souls to God by many parables such as: the parable of the prodigal son, Luke 15; the lost sheep, the lost coin, et al.
He made a remarkable statement that when one soul repents there is much joy in heaven.
In other words, when a lost soul is brought back to God there will be a great celebration in heaven, a birthday party celebration—like the celebration when a child is born.
Luke 15: 7-10
”I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.”
8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it?
9 And when she hath found it, she calleth her friends and her neighbours together, saying, rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is JOY in the presence of the angels of God over one SINNER that repenteth.”
During the earthly ministry of the Lord Jesus, He devoted all His time to winning souls to God.
Great Harvest; Few Labourers
Matthew 9:37-38
37 Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few;
38 Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest.
Presently, the population of the world now is circa 8 billion people.
The greater part of this population is sandwiched in the far east of Asia nations of which cult religions are their main faith—Hinduism, Buddhism, Krishnaism, Taoism, Confucianism, Shintoism, Animism [Paganism], Islamism and Communism.
The souls to be harvested into the kingdom of God in these areas are enormous; but those harvesting them are few.
Kenneth Hagin, in his book: The Midas Touch, quoting Gordon Lindsay, wrote: ‘’
‘’[Money] is an important element in promoting Christian work. Its availability to a considerable extent governs the scope of our activities. It is, therefore, natural that a minister looks for ways and means by which he can secure necessary funds for the work that he feels called to do.’’
Kenneth Hagin continued:
In those days looking for people to do the work of mission was difficult; but now they are surplus. The problem now is not volunteers but money to do the work of God.
Nothing can be truer.

WITHOUT DOUBT, REACHING all men with the Gospel is an enormous task, next to impossible without money and the support of people.
Obviously, when God calls someone to do a specific job for Him, aside from equipping him spiritually, He also provides him with folks that will assist him in accomplishing the job. These folks are called co-laborer’s in Christ. And God is obliged to reward their faithfulness in all ramifications. Matthew 10: 40-42
The cost of running social media outlets, especially maintaining two blogs in which you pay in dollars annually to remain afloat is a herculean task.
Join The Band Wagon
Psalm 68:11
‘’The Lord gave the word: great was the company of those that published it.’’
You can be among those company of people spreading the good news of salvation, if you are of a mind.
What was it Prophet Daniel said?
Daniel 12:3
‘’And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.’’
Apostle Paul wrote:
1 Corinthians 3: 6-8
” 6 I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase.
7 So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.
8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”
King Solomon wrote:
Proverbs 11:30
‘’and he that winneth souls is wise.’’
Apostle James wrote:
James 5:19-20
‘’Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him; let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death and shall hide a multitude of sins.’’
Apostle Jude lent is authority:
Jude 1:23
”Save others by snatching them from the fire; and to still others show mercy tempered with fear, hating even the clothing stained by the flesh.’’
Sinners are lost. So, it behooves we believers to seek them out and lead them to Christ…overtly, covertly or both.
Treasures In Heaven
The Lord Jesus Christ admonished his disciples thus:
Matthew 6:19-21
”Lay NOT up for yourselves TREASURES upon EARTH, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But LAY up for YOURSELVES TREASURE S in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: For where your TREASURE is, there will your HEART be also.”

Apostle Paul says Romans 10:15:
“And how beautiful are the feet of those who preach the gospel of peace, who bring glad tidings of good things!” See also Isaiah 52:7
The Lord Jesus says in the book of Revelation:
Revelation 22:12
”Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according to how his work shall be.”
Revelation 22: 17
”The Spirit and the Bride (the Church) say ‘Come.’ And let him who hears say ‘Come’…”
